What happens when you take the most beloved hits of the German indie-pop scene and transport them to a sun-drenched beach on the Adriatic coast? You get the Crucchi Gang.
Born from a late-night idea between Francesco Wilking (Die Höchste Eisenbahn), Sven Regener (Element of Crime), and music manager Charlotte Goltermann, the Crucchi Gang is more than just a cover band—it’s a musical bridge between Berlin and Rome. The project takes well-known German songs and reimagines them with Italian lyrics and a sound that echoes the golden era of Italo-pop, 60s orchestral melodies, and sleazy disco vibes.
The name itself is a cheeky reclamation of the word “Crucchi”—a slang term used by Italians for Germans—turning a dusty stereotype into a celebration of “Amore e Musica.” Featuring a rotating collective of guest stars like Jeremias, Von Wegen Lisbeth, Tocotronic, and Steiner & Madlaina, the Crucchi Gang invites you to a world of gelato, red wine, and endless summer nights.
It’s German soul with an Italian heart. Benvenuti alla Gang!
